How KipwareXC® Works
The software does all the work

No CNC programming nor CAD/CAM experience is required because the all the work is done in the background by the software. Users can create a "PROFILE" file for each machine in the shop. The PROFILE file defines the code conversions ... basically, what to convert and into what. The user can define individual codes such as convert M81 to M181 or complete lines of code - called VARIABLE LINES.

• UNLIMITED NUMBER OF PROFILES : Users can create PROFILES within KipwareXC® that basically describes to the software what to convert into what. The number of available PROFILES that can be created is UNLIMITED. That means that you only need to purchase KipwareXC® once ... and it will cover all your shop equipment now and in the future.

• Multiple Machine Types Supported : KipwareXC® supports RADIUS TURNING, DIAMETER TURNING and MILLING all in one package.

• Standard Auto-Conversion Features : KipwareXC® is set-up to handle a multitude of standard operations such as :
  • Convert R values to INCREMENTAL I and J values ... for milling programs.
  • Convert R values to ABSOLUTE I and J values ... for milling programs.

This poweful feature allows users to automatically convert G code programs created for cutting on one half of the center line to cut on the opposite half.

• Individual Code Conversions : KipwareXC® easily handles simple conversions ... say an M81 to M801.

• Complete User Defined Conversions : KipwareXC® uses our unique MACRO LINE definitions to enable users to define any type of conversion. Using this powerful feature, users can define any type of line conversion including :
  • Simple one-to-one conversion on the line ... replace one or multiple instances on a line with a user defined conversion or delete one or multiple instances on a line.
    • EXAMPLE : S1000 M03 to S1000 M13 ........ G70 P1000 Q2000 to G777 M1000 N2000
    • EXAMPLE : G00 X2.000 Z1.000 M89 to G00 X2.000 Z1.000

  • BREAK single lines up into multiple lines.

KipwareXC® Includes a Powerful CNC Editor

After the conversion takes place, you can view the comparison screen between the original program and the converted program. You can scroll through both programs to compare the contents. Other options available directly from KipwareXC® :

• Convert the program in either screen from INCH to METRIC or METRIC to INCH with the push of one button.
• Convert the Fanuc style AUTO CHAMFER / RADIUS programming ( e.g. G01 X---- K---- ) into two standard lines of programming code for use in other machines. KipwareXC® does all the math and replaces the single program line with two standard program lines.

The KipwareXC® Override feature gives users the ability to auto-adjust user defined letter address values ... by adding or subtracting user defined values that can either be a pre-set value or a percentage of the current address value.

• Adjust all S ( Spindle Speed Commands ) by 25% UP or DOWN
• ADD 2.00" to all Z commands
• REDUCE all F ( Feedrate Commands ) by 10%
